Cable worked - Software didn't [Posted on 2007-12-28]
I was able to use the cable to connect the cellphone to my computer, however, the software that came with it didn't do its job. I received an error that the software was just for preview only. A product key code wasn't included. I ended up using the cable, but searched the internet and located BitPim software (free) to finally get the pictures off my old camera phone. I could have just purchased the cable separately for $9.00 without spending the extra for what I thought was going to be an easy install and go. If I had been a newbie to the computer and internet, I would have never got it to work.
