Good enough for my daily usage [Posted on 2008-10-02] Only one obvious defect is while the earloop installing on the headset, it's unable to fit into the charger and I have to take the earloop off every time for charging. However the problem is the earloop is very weak. After several times of intall and uninstall, it just broke.
But the headset itself is perfect for this price.
Happy with my Samsung [Posted on 2008-10-04] I am very pleased with my purchase of a Samsung bluetooth ear piece. It is very light, comfortable and the sound quality is good. I recommed it highly.
Excellent, excellent, excellent Bluetooth Headset [Posted on 2008-10-04] I have a T-Mobile Dash smartphone. I have tried quite a few different Bluetooth headsets - from expensive ones, to dirt cheap and in between, from Motorola and Plantornics to some not so famous brand names. I must say, the Samsung WEB200 is the best value I have gotten so far. The quality of the sound is excellent, both for me and the caller on the other side, it is loud enough and easy to use. And it is priced well... I love it!
I was all set to buy [Posted on 2008-10-06] and these valid criticisms stopped me in my tracks. $.99 for a loop that doesn't last a week? What a racket. Not for me.
Great headset for phone, not great for gaming [Posted on 2008-10-07] Let me be clear, this is an absolutely fantastic bluetooth headset in that the quality of the speaker and microphone are superb, better than most headsets that are twice the size. It's a fantastic choice for a cell phone.
This is NOT, however, a good headset for your PS3. While the quality is excellent, the microphone is calibrated to pick up sounds far from the mic (due to the distance from the headset to your mouth). This tends to mean a lot of ambient noise from your videogames obscuring what you are trying to shout to your team as you're being gunned down. Not good. What's more, while the headset is perfectly comfortable for short to medium conversations, it actually becomes quite painful if you're wearing it for extended gaming sessions of an hour plus. Also not good.
I have since bought a new headset for my PS3 (well, actually it was the one bundled with Warhawk and I like it just fine). I have since switched to using this headset for my cell phone exclusively, and I've fallen in love with it all over again. Highly recommended for that. Not for gaming.
