Customer Reviews:

works great [Posted on 2008-04-29]
It works very well. Also, the ability to lock the boom so that when it gets bumped in your pocket is very important.

D.O.A...Twice!! [Posted on 2008-06-04]
I purchased the H800 along with a different bluetooth headset (A Samsung), 2 cell phones and a service plan with T-mobile, all through Amazon. I struggled to pair the headsets with either phone for about a day as I was brand new to the technology and hadn't even heard the word "paring" in reference to a cell phone before.

By the end of said day I paired the Sumsung. Two days later I still couldn't pair the H800. The "Easy pair" mode seems like a lie to me. So, I returned it and a few days later received a brand new one from Amazon. Guess what? SAME THING! Here's the scenario:

You open the box.

Plug the charger to the wall and in to the H800.

A green light turns on. According to the H800 booklet the green light indicates a fully charged battery.

You unplug the H800.

According to the booklet To pair with a phone all you have to do is hit the "Call" button once. The slider will slide out and you'll be in pairing mode! Not so fast.

You hit the "Call" button and nothing happens. And I truly mean nothing. No lights, no sounds, not even little X's over it's eyes to signify the thing is a corpse of a headset.

Again, this is not some freak D.O.A. It happened TWICE. Both times were exactly the same! This product is a worthless hunk of junk! I'm starting to think Amazon has a defective batch of H800's.

BUYER BEWARE!!!

1 week lifetime [Posted on 2008-08-16]
For the 1 week it did work, the volume was way too low.

After 1 week no voice was being transmitted to other end; one. Had to return.

Too much background noise! [Posted on 2008-09-02]
This product is easy to use however the background noise my callers hear is terrible!! You have to be in a quiet room or not driving to get the best use. Which is not good since I bought it to drive with.

fantastic bluetooth  [Posted on 2008-09-16]
Bought this on friday and chose CCM accessories... it arrived on monday with the cheap shipping option ( i was amazed!) I saw lower end bluetooth sets in stores for more than double the price.

The device hooked right up to my motorola w385 phone and worked flawlessly. the inbound and outbound sound is very good, the volume gets pretty loud (important for me) and the buttons work very nicely.

One great feature of the earpiece that I really like is how easily it shuts off for using the handset or speaker phone on my phone... just push the slider closed, the earpiece powers down and the phone disconnects it immediately. push the talk button, the slider extends (hydraulically so it will not put physical shock to any of the parts, very cool) and the phone picks it up in a second or two and the earpiece starts working... very slick.

The fit isnt perfect for me (i tried a couple of the different ear hangers) but it feels very secure and comfortable... I dont even notice it. the ear hanger does not allow the earpiece to rotate up and down which i thought a bit odd but it doesnt seem to affect the the ability to hear the speaker.

A small gripe; the charging jack is a bit hard to plug in but its no big deal.

Overall I am extremely pleased with the design, quality and features of this bluetooth... Buy it, you'll love it.
