best headset i've ever owned before i washed it. [Posted on 2008-09-27] bought h500 and was defective, motorola replaced extremely quickly, must of been out out h5oo cause they sent me the h710. Was very easy to set up with my t-mobile dash. lasts forever, good sound - lack of ear plug a big plus.
when washed this one by accident replaced with h721 cause only version i could find local, would have replaced with h710 if i could have found it.
uses micro usb charger and not mini like the dash but you can get adaptor so u can charge with same charger.
This is the one!! [Posted on 2008-09-30] I ended up with this headset by default! I replaced my HS-850 With the vaunted H700(not!)I retuned to the HS-850 but it started to malfuntion with my new phone(nokia-6126) I sent it for service and they replaced it with the little known H710! It was the end of all my bluetooth complaints If you want comfort as well dynamite performance, look no further than the H710!!!!!!
awesome!!! [Posted on 2008-10-03] This is the most comfortable bluetooth I have ever had, and the sound quality is much better than the Plantronics 510 it replaced.
Great Headset but micro-USB charger a Pain in the ... [Posted on 2008-10-04] I replaced my H700 headset with this one after I carelessly lost it. It's a simple, great design that works well, however:
CON: The one biggest irritation with the H710 over the H700 is that Motorola switched to using a micro usb charger rather than the common mini USB charger that most other devices use. So rather than just have one charger for my motorola phone and headset in the car/home/office, now I have to buy a second charger to keep in the car/home/office. The H710 is the same size as the H700, so there was no reason to change the charger, other than to annoy.
Good for me [Posted on 2008-10-04] I can hear great. But people on the other end complain that they hear a ton of noise. Sounds like everything on my end is being amplified. I only know how to turn down the volume for what I can hear.
I also got a new phone, so it could be the phone, but I think it's the headset.
