Does anyone have lots of problems with the Voyager every month where they have to get a new Voyager every month [Posted on 2008-07-29] I loved this phone when I bought it then my antenna for the mobile TV was loose where I had to hold the antenna when I was watching mobile TV so the antenna wouldn't easily more then with my 2nd one a month later I was watching mobile TV and I fliped it close then it totally froze on me then with my 3rd one a month later it was running really slow and one of the games I download stopped working where I had to remove the battery from it then put the battery back a minute later to see if it would run faster and it didn't and I had to redownload the game that stopped working in order to play it again then with my 4th one a month later I had the same problems as I had with my 3rd one. The internet on this phone is like the internet on a smartphone. So I would recommend getting a smartphone because you wouldn't have hardly any problems with a Windows Mobile, Palm Treo or Centro or a Blackberry smartphone. Do not waste the money and buy the Voyager because your going to have new problems with it every month where you would have to go to Verizon to see whats wrong with your Voyager every month where you wished you had bought a smartphone instead so you wouldn't be wasting your time going to Verizon to see wants wrong with your Voyager every month.
I LOVE IT! [Posted on 2008-08-12] Yesterday I bought this phone. It was between the LG Dare and this one. The Dare was really hard to type on and you sometimes had to press hard. This one is very good sensitivity with the touch pad and the qwerty pad inside is easy and big. I had the U740 prior to this and the buttons were so small, it made everything hard. I'm so happy to have this now. The camera takes beautiful pictures, the internet is fast, it's all so fun!
AMAZING!!!!!! [Posted on 2008-08-23] This is an amazing phone!!! My only issue is the camera. No flash and only 2.0 MP.
Great phone! [Posted on 2008-09-03] I bought this phone when I broke my original Envy phone. I wanted this one bc it had all the characteristics I loved about the Envy plus the touch screen. I haven't been disappointed yet,I loved the old phone & I love this one too. It gives you everything you could ask for and more. This phone also has a better camera to it than the old Envy too. Great buy!
ugh [Posted on 2008-09-22] Yes, my title is "ugh" because tomorrow morning I am taking back my THIRD Voyager in less than one month. First I'll tell you the positive aspects of the phone, which is why my rating is 3 stars. Love the touch screen and the option of opening the phone to use the QWERTY keyboard. I also think the camera takes beautiful and sharp photos. Unfortunately the negatives outweigh the positives and have been the same with all three new phones. Nearly every person I talk to tells me that they hear an echo when they talk back to me. Even the people in Verizon's customer service department tell me they hear the echo. Love the phone, but am completely unwilling to have my contacts dealing with this annoying issue for 24 months. The only other complaint I have with the phone is that Mobile Email does not work well with cox.net. I would say it worked about 30% of the time. I ended up skirting the issue by creating a hotmail account that all of my cox email was forwarded to. When cox didn't work, I went to the hotmail account to retrieve my mail. It is a pain, but it does work that way. My frustration came with the salesperson's assertation that it would work fine with my e-mail provider. uhhh, no. Of course they also told me that no one experiences an echo with the phone. okayyyyy, then, whatever you say! So there you have it. If you don't mind an echo, cho, cho, cho...go for it.
