Does not work with Iphone 3G. My old cheap car charger also did not work. Only some AC or car chargers work with the new 3G phone, so check beforehand to be sure it is compatible.
I am sure it works fine with the old Iphone and Ipods, but no go with 3G

I love the aesthetics of this charger and build quality seemed fine. However, it simply quit working after 2 weeks. I went back to using an official apple charger
