Three parts, only one is useful! [Posted on 2007-06-04]
I bought this product because it had two things I needed: the car charger and hands-free earbud, and was cheaper than the usual inflated price for any one of those items. It also comes with a leather carrying case, but I wasn't really interested in that.

Overall, I was disappointed in what I received. The car charger seems to work fine, and I'm happy about that. The leather carrying case barely fits the phone, but with effort it can be put on. It seems to have holes in the right places, but doesn't look very good, and I doubt I'll ever use it.

The big problem is that the hands-free earbud did not work!! The phone detected the hands-free device, and I could use the button on the microphone to tell the phone to make a call or hangup, but I could not hear anything during the call! The earbud made no sound at all!

I tested my phone with another earbud and it worked, so I know the problem isn't with my phone. I tested the earbud from this starter kit with another phone and it still did not work, so I'm quite sure the problem is with the part I received. I plan to send this part back to Wireless Technologies for warranty replacement; we'll see how that goes.
