I couldn't believe that the price also included the cover, but the vendor assured me it did. I bought two and both are in use and work fine.

The battery is fine, holds its charge for many minutes of talk time. However, I found it curious that the size of the new battery was bigger than the original one, which necessitated a new back for the phone. But that was sent along with the battery so did not present a problem.

This battery was purchased to replace the original battery in an LG VX8100. The battery clearly says "For LG VX6100" on the top, but does fit in the VX8100 model. It is however, at least twice as thick as the original battery. The included replacement cover allows for that additional thickness. It has only been one day but it seems to be holding a charge just fine. For $11, it was worth it.
